John Giles is Divisional Director for Promar International, a leading consulting and research group operating in the agriculture, food and drink sectors. He is also Chairman of the Food, Drink & Agricultural Group of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
John will provide an overview of the amount of fresh fruit and vegetables imported into the UK and that home produced. He will discuss the challenges and issues involved in importing and set out some golden rules for dealing with the fresh fruit produce trade. Finally he will refer to some of the key influences in market development and prospects
