Entry Criteria for the ASDA Innovation Award 2010
Entrants can be either a main or co exhibitor, but must have completed a booking form. Entry forms will be issued upon receipt of a minimum payment of 50% of the stand fee. Only one entry is permitted per company.
To be eligible to enter, the product or service must fall within the following categories: • Fresh fruit • Fresh vegetables • Potatoes • Salad leaves • Fresh cut/convenience / catering produce • Canned / Preserved fruit, vegetables and potatoes • Dried fruit / nuts • Spices / herbs • Chilled and frozen fruit / vegetables / herbs • Flowers / plants for self-service outlets • Organic products from all groups above • Other produce items by agreement of the organiser. • Packaging • Grading/Sorting • Transport • Logistics • Produce handling • Storage/Recycling • Quality control • Computer and internet solutions • Marketing • Consultancy • Technical services • Cultivation systems
The product or service must have a new aspect which has been introduced within the previous 12 months - at time of entering. The product must be available for display over the 2 days of the event. The judge’s decision is final and will be announced at the ASDA reception Wed 27th October 11am.
